The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this
Commercial Item Description by all Federal Agencies.
1. SCOPE. This commercial item description covers wrenches suitable for thin hexagon and square-headed bolts and nuts.
2. CLASSIFICATION. Not applicable.
3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
3.1 Design. Wrenches shall be designed as to afford a well proportioned, comfortable handgrip. Wrench dimensions and sizes shall conform to section 3.2.
