COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
WRENCH, BOX, DOUBLE HEAD, 12 POINT, HALF-MOON
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this
Commercial Item Description by all Federal Agencies.
1. SCOPE. This commercial item description covers wrenches suitable for use with hexagonal bolt heads and nuts.
2. CLASSIFICATION. Not applicable.
3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS.
3.1 Design. Wrench opening shall be of a double hexagon (12 point) design. The handle shall afford a well proportioned, comfortable handgrip. Wrench dimensions and sizes shall conform to Section 3.2.
